MOUSEHOLE. On 23 rd September 2015, I was invited to spend the day at a very special station, the old Penlee RNLI boathouse in Mousehole. The last lifeboat to launch from the old boathouse was the Solomon Browne on 19 th December 1981, a rescue mission during which the entire crew perished along with those they'd saved from the coaster Union.
